The Arizona Mega-Forum on Health Care Reform will take place on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 7pm at the Wyndam Phoenix Hotel (50 E. Adams Street, Phoenix 85004).  Keynote speakers include: Rep. John Conyers of Michigan, Arizona State Representative Kyrsten Sinema, Dr. Margaret Flowers of the Physicians for a National Health Program, and Donna Smith of the California Nurses Association.

   The Green Party-US (GP-US) will hold its 2009 Annual National Meeting in Durham, North Carolina (July 23-26) on the campus of North Carolina Central University.  The Arizona Green Party (AZGP) will be represented by our two GP-US delegates: Claudia Ellquist and Telemachos (Tim) Mavrides.  Claudia is a member of the GP-US National Women's Caucus, as well as the GP-US Ballot Access committee.  Tim represents AZGP on the GP-US Platform committee.
 

The next meeting of the Central Phoenix Greens Local will be Wednesday, June 24th at 6:30pm at Copper Star Coffee, 4220 N. 7th Avenue, Phoenix 85013.  Join your fellow Greens for coffee and political dialogue!  The Central Phoenix Greens meets the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of every month.
